If you’ve been watching my Snapchat stories, you’ve seen my recent obsession with this frozen coffee recipe that I found. And guess what? IT CONTAINS COLLAGEN. (Surprise, Surprise…) It’s the perfect, healthy, way to wake up in the morning with a quick breakfast OR have as a mid-day snack pick-me-up.
Here’s the recipe:
¼ cup of iced coffee!! (or cold brew… if you make coffee in your house already, just throw some ice in it to cool it off and use that. I’ve been using Sprouts brand cold brew, but cold brew tends to be SUPER bitter so it depends on what you like!)
3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk (plus more to taste)
½ medjool date
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Sprinkle of cinnamon – to taste
1 scoop of Vital Proteins Vanilla and Coconut water Collagen Peptides (if you don’t have this, you can use a scoop of protein powder that you like!)
1. Blend it all together!
2. Taste it and see what it needs. Modify this recipe to fit YOUR taste buds. If you want it to be a little creamier then add more almond milk… If you want it to be a little sweeter, add more vanilla/cinnamon… etc.
